Orkut is the name of the guy that developed the site idea. Yes, it is nerdy.

Nothing's wrong really.
Orkut seems to be gaining more and more users daily AND some people just like to participate in other communities as well.

I'm a mod at neogeoforlife.com, I've known shawn for years (Juzam times anyone?), it's not like I'm trying to give people a choice BETWEEN communities, I'm asking if anyone wants to join the orkut one as well :-)
