I just bought a Neo Geo CD machine and its a Japanese version. The memory screen has 5 options all in Japanese and I was wondering if someone knows the English translation.

From the CD manual, p. 13:

1. Backup Memory Format
2. Display Data Name
3. Delete a Data
4. File User's Name
5. End

Confirm selection with A-button (twice), use B to return to the menu.

Hey:

I have seen this question asked many times (and have asked it myself), I think its time this kind of information was readily available somewhere on this site. Bobak could follow his gloss page up with a general Neo FAQ...

i would be cool if they had a FAQ that translated japanese to us for all of us that have japanese AES/US systems and cant read japanese. That would be great for the momory card screen on the cd/cdz and for some of the games that dont lang select option. It would be great also for AES systems that dont have a debug bios that can change the origin of the system.

The FAQ nearly is ready, except for some technical details I want to double-check. I will post a link in a few days!

However, my CD vs AES comparison chart still needs some more time...
