Oro is one character I have NEVER been able to use at all. That kind of sucks, because I think he could probably be really good if used correctly. Not only that, but he just looks cool, so I want to get better with him. So anyway, I just wanted some good combos, or general strategies for using him.

I'm in no way an expert using him, but I thought I'd give my insights in facing him as an opponent:

he seems to be at his most difficult when he acts unpredictably...it is extremely frustrating when he'll catch you with a few attacks and then just stop everything and just stand away and wait for you to try something...

in short, it would drive me crazy that on higher difficulties I could never get a read on him and he would wind up foiling my attempts to really dominate the round...

I might be way off since I'm not some SFIII god or anything, but that's what I know...hope it helps

EDIT: I'm sure swordplay's advice blows away any paltry info I posted...

yeah, learn that screwed up (strong slap, stomp)x3 into tengu stone for like 50 hits and you'll have a pretty nasty base to build on. I'm sure the shoryuken thread mentions that...

Oro is strong and has decent speed. His projectile kinda sucks, the EX one is good. But since there's an anit-air projectile that makes up for it. Dont' abuse his Charge d, press U + P. If blocked or missed ya open for punishment. Dont EX it either. Just use this in a cealn-hitting combo or an anti-air. His Stomp is good and works well i ncross-up's, espcially in MAX S.A. 2. His throw special is must-use, best too use it always after a succesful standing close MK. Use his standing close Mp for effective juggles. Learn to throw with him alot to. Poke, throw, poke throw. Kinda like Dhalsim.
