1 bit digital amps

Has anyone here had experience with these, missed a good deal today ;(, A Sharp SM-SX100 with matching SACD player for only US$ 2000 (ex-demo), list price a couple of years ago was close to US 20K for the amp and player.

Able to get the smaller SM-SX1 amp only for US$ 750, which Im going to have to do.

Anyone had anything to do with 1 Bit high-end systems ( Sharp are not known for Hi-Fi gear, I know) but they entered the market with new tech, at the time with rave reviews.
Its a few years old now but still looks good.

Any thoughts ?

I haven't heard one myself, but from people I've talked to that have, they are very nice sounding. When I upgrade my receiver in a few years I'll probably get one with digital amps.
