VS system to JAMMA

Hey all, I'm looking to get a Nintendo VS system and JAMMAify it so I can stick it in my Neo cab. I know that the old Nintendo boards have inverted video, so I got something to fix that, but is there anything else thats funny/nonstandard on old Nintendo hardware that I should be aware of?

There is someone that sells Nintendo to Jamma harnesses... not sure if the VS fits into this catagory though. Send me a PM if you want me to look it up for you.

I;m pretty sure that the vs system uses +composite sync, and -12v. I'd check into buying a converter.

ive had 2 Vs. cabs, and i believe it has some crazy power supply. I have one that I pulled to restore it back to Donkey Kong, ill look and see what the output is.

you need 24 volts, but its just for the coin counter.

neogeo2, thanks for the awesome pinouts! Way better than the ones in my VS system manual. I actually Googled around for a Nintendo to JAMMA adapter and apparently Clay Cowgill makes one, but it wont work for the VS system. But perhaps hacking up a well designed board like that would be way easier than messing with the audio amp and this Donkey Kong video inverter board I have.
