Shockbox Insert REQUEST thread

With the new pre-order of Shockboxes started and me not having anything to do since I'm done with my personal collection. I started this thread so that all of us that have been involved in creating inserts or wish to participate in designs can get an idea of what you all want.

Please try to keep this thread to the subject at hand. Post your requests!

I'd request a Ghostlop Insert, but that's really stretching it. :smirk:

Actually what I'd love to see is Inserts made for the Mahjong Games, but I have never seen any MVS Artwork of them...

I've made a galaxy fight and Neo Turf masters insert. I'll probably be making savage reign and alpha mission 2 inserts in the near future as well since I just got those two titles.

FYI: None of my inserts will be "classic" I prefer the black. I've been thinking of making some white variants as well.

PS an insert for slug 3 is out there already.

I'm a big fan of the classic styled inserts and i would love to see a Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad classic insert. I don't believe one exists at the moment.

Ok, I am in the process of digging up my Real Bout Fatal Fury insert that I did a couple months ago. Since I first told big bear it was almost done I have lost many hours re-doing what I didn't save when I printed out my copy and I had my hard drive that windows was on crash. I am in the process of digging it out from my Linux drive and transferring it to my new computer. I am hoping to get a preview of it up tonight. Also hoping to find the 2020 super baseball insert I did.

I'm interested in tackling these 4 titles, does anyone have scans of the art packs or the current inserts? NitD is what I'll tackle first, but I haven't seen any inserts on it already. Got URL anyone?

Metal Slug 3 seems to be popping up a bit and there is already a really great version of it out at nick_the_fury's website that Jhendrix did.

I made a classic-shock version of it (its at my site).

This is the Japanese version of the cart

I think Jhendrix did a pretty great job.

Yeah, I don't know what I was talking about when I said Metal Slug 3. I must've been thinking of something else or whatnot as I already had it downloaded and saved.

I even remembed commenting on NeoCverA's copy, so I've edited my previous post accordingly.

David sent me his Galaxy Fight insert today. I fit it into the template that BB and I use so basically all that is changed is the Meg count areas and Spine for proper allignment with the other inserts. Everything else is in-tact and according to his insert.

expect an update soon at Crazearcade.

First off let me say that I mean no offense to those that have created the 2001-2003 KoF Shockbox art set already. They are all very good, but my request would be to have the spines (that is all that needs redoing in my opinion) of these three redone so that the characters overlap/span multiple boxes like the rest of the series does. This would rock... :loco:

BTW, I love your new RotD insert NeoCverA.

I agree. It doesn't look right that Athena and Ash dosen't overlap into the next spine and 2k2 needs to be redone since half of the art is not even relevent to the game. I perfer custom covers, but I like how NeoCverA makes the covers Classic style w/ his own custom art/background.

Yeah, I think that I'm going to also request Real Bout Fatal Fury shock box insert. I need it badly. It's the only MVS that I own that I have not been able to print out an insert for.
