We like Ignition Entertainment at this moment in time, as they've announced that they will be publishing both Metal Slug 3 for Xbox and Metal Slug Advance for Game Boy Advance, simultaneously in October. We like Metal Slug, so this is good news.
You probably know what you expect from a Metal Slug game, and that's lots of classic side-scrolling shooting, with some odd vehicles. Metal Slug 3 certainly has those, including the Camel Slug, Ostrich Slug and Elephant Slug. It also has Xbox Live leaderboards, for the ultimate high score challenge. It's already out in the US, where it has received largely positive reviews. Shots to the left.
The Game Boy Advance version isn't due over the pond until August, so we don't have the benefit of other people telling us what to think.
