I don't remember Sega ever calling the Saturn a 64bit machine. You are probably thinking of the Jaguar. they used that fuzzy logic of two 32bit processors=64 bit.

Sega was actually calling the Saturn 128 bit before it was released, I have an old EGM with the article, their tech support people were telling people by phone that asked that it was a 128 bit system.
They added all the cpu speeds up and got the 128 figure.
Bitage is meanlingless, because it's up to other features the system has, and if the developers even use them, sheer speed means nothing...
The Playstation 2 should prove that without a doubt, all the lies and hype Sony put out about it, 200 million polygons a second etc. etc., then why is it that games like DOA2 look better on Dreamcast?

The neo was maxed out years ago, games arent gonna look any better than they do now, KOF has looked the same ever since 96/97, they can only make the meg size bigger with more stages, music, characters etc.
Why do you think MOTWs only had like 12 characters? Cause its animation was so insane, they had to cut the character number down, cause the neo cant handle it.

BUT THE WHOLE CONCEPT IS THAT KOF 2002 IS GOING TO LOOK BETTER THAN ANY OTHER KOF BECAUSE OF ITS IMPROVMENTS OVER THE YEARS, LIKE HOW NEO GEO POCKET WENT FROM NO COLOR TO COLOR. AND NEO IS 24 BITS 16 + 8 = 24ANYHOW IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SIZE OF THE CART WHICH MAKES JTHE GAME LOOK NICER!!!!!!! AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE GAROU SAID SO</strong><hr></blockquote>
it's true for any hardware not only neogeo !
