I'm currently watching the '93 NBA Finals and I have to say that the '93 Bulls Team is definitely the baddest team ever assembled. That team would dominate any other team in NBA history including any '80's Lakers team, '00/01 Lakers and the'85 Celtics IMOP. Also I think it is by far the Best Bulls championship team out of the six, even better than the '96 Bulls(72 Wins). The '93 season is when I thought MJ, Horace Grant, Scottie Pippen and B.J Armstrong were all at their primes of their career. Not to mention an NBA Finals scoring record of 41.0 ppg for MJ. Paxon, Williams and 3-time 3 pt shooting champion Hodges made that bench even deadlier than it already was. Therefore '93 Chicago Bulls > any NBA team.

'92-'93 Chicago Bulls

Bill Cartwright 7'1 Stacey King/Will Purdue
Horace Grant 6'10 Scott Williams
Scottie Pippen 6'8 Trent Tucker
Michael Jordan 6'6 Craig Hodges
B.J Armstrong 6'2 John Paxon

:)

With that coming from a true die hard Pistons fan....that just shows your loyalty to your team. But I respect that.

I wish my Knicks would've beat the Spurs in the finals. No center and they still put up a fight. Man I was pissed when they lost

I think the 1996 Bulls team is probably the greatest team ever assembled, they went 72-10 that year and have the best record ever next to the 1972 Lakers. So the 1996 Bulls are the greatest team ever :buttrock:

To be honest any Bulls team with Jordan can be nominated for greatest team because it had one of the greatest if not the greatest player ever. MJ :buttrock:

I know a good team when I see one. The bad thing is I was a Knicks fan growing up so you don't know how much I hated them :mr_t: Ewing was my dude.

I respect your OPINION as well. And of course anyone who is not a fan of the Bulls past championship teams would also agree with that statement.

It's a little hard to pick a team but the only ones that I think should even be considered should be. Celtics, Lakers, Bulls or Pistons maybe a few others but I'm not a huge B-ball buff. Only watched from late 80's on.

The '82-'83 Philadelphia Sixers were dominant going 12-1 in the Playoffs. That team definitely deserves some consideration.

Semi related ??, which team will Phil Jackson coach next? Obviously any team wanting to hire him needs to have at least some key players to assure a good chance of getting the championship ring.

He'll probably take a year or two off settling in Alaska or Montana and once he targets the right team with the right superstars in place then he'll take advantage of that situation as he has done before.

I'd guess the Knicks, because it is a high profile job, and he used to play there.

btw, I said this before that rat lookin Steven A. Smith did.

Man...why did you have to remind me of that series?!! My team is the Phoenix Suns and we were PWNED by the Bulls :crying:

Though I have to admit the triple-overtime game during that series was one of the greatest games I ever watched ;)

The '93 Bulls probably featured Jordan at his physical prime, but in '96 Jordan was out for blood. He'd been beaten the previous year by the Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals (he'd only been around since April that season), and the team was STACKED...Dennis Rodman's insane rebounding, Kerr and Kukoc as three point threats, Ron Harper was a better point guard, and MJ out to crush everyone and get the title back to prove he was the greatest ever. Michael even writes in his book 'For The Love Of The Game' that the '96 team had by far the best, most consistent vibe.

So a marginally physically stronger Jordan, or a vengeful one with a better set of role-players around him? As Nick Bakay says, the numbers don't lie.

'93 Bulls- 57-25
'96 Bulls- 72-10

'Nuff said. The '96 Bulls were not only the best team of the Jordan dynasty, but arguably the best NBA squad ever.
