S-Video Help with AES system vs CD system

Ok, i have my neo cdz hooked up using the s-video out in the back, i looks great clear and crsip. Then i have my AES system hooked up using the mulit A/V wire with a powered signal converter (Video to S-video). The cd- system still looks much clearer and brighter. If i get my system modded for s-video will it look as good as the cd system or will it always be a more darker feel to it? Is this b/c the AES is cart based and a little older than the cdz

I reckon the AES should display the exact same thing as the CD did...

the colors look blurry and a lot darker. maybe it is b/c of the converter? where can i get my AES modded for s-video and how much would it cost?

S-vid would lighten things up and make every thing crisp and clear ten fold.

ya i know this, but s-vid on my cd system looks a lot better, than on the aes. is there a reason for this?

probibly cause a micky mouse svid mod isnt the same as having svid designed and built in as it was in the ngcd

DO U HAVE AN OLD TV THAT U HAVE HOOKED UP TO UR NEO'S, THATS PROBABLY THE PROB. PLUS IF U HAVE BOTH HOOKEDH UP TO A VCR WOULD BE MUCH BETTER CAUSE THATS HOW I HAVE MY NEOGEO AES AND SEGA SUPER NINTENDO AND OTHEER CONSOLES HOOKED UP.

why would i want to hook it through my VCR, that is a straight video connection into my theatre system. I have my Neos hooked into a switch box that goes directly into my s-video in my tv. Yes my tv is a little old, so i do blame that for some of the picture loss, but my ps2, DC,snes,nes,genesis,neo CD-Z,n64 all look good with the s-video. i am getting a new sony tv soon, so hopefully the picture will be super seet. i dont really care all that much anyway, i was just wondering if anyone has noticed this difference
