Yep, Friday morning I'm interviewing for YOUR dream job, although I must admit its also interesting to me.

I'm not gonna tell you what it is exactly but it involves games, games and games and the company has been around since... Pong, Centipede and Tempest ;)

So cross your fingers for me.

What are Pong, Centipede and Tempest? :smirk:
Good luck on the interview. What are the specifics on what you would be doing?

The Atari you're interviewing with is NOT the same Atari whose games I grew up enjoying as a youth.

good luck,
remember, don't say anything negative about yourself.
just avoid those points entirely unless it's brought up specifically.
and remember, it's all about the team!

Yep I know it won't be the same Atari but it could be interesting anyway.

The job would have to do with Brand Marketing... trying to hype up releases and come up with new ideas for games.

Here's an idea if you get a foot in the door: Stop sucking.

But seriously, good luck. :)

Infogrames will *never* be Atari.

Infogrames actually made some of the most popular games in Europe in the mid-late 80's, mainly for Amiga, Atari and Amstrad CPC.

Agreed Nesagwa... but I know nohting about programming and designing, I just like to have ideas and tell others how to do it :D

you're interviewing to get into the NBA?

Even better, he's interviewing to create the next Shaq-Fu!

Anyway, working for a game company is no longer my dream job. Gaming has taken the back seat to everything else. If my life were a bus, gaming would be towards the back of the bus in terms of importance.

Regardless about how I feel about gaming, I wish you the best of luck.

And Inforgrames put out the original Alone in the Dark on the so they aren't all bad.

You hold a gun to the teller's face and tell her to ask you questions while she
prints off a few hundred lottery tickets.

Later

And then you shoot her in the face.

My dream job has nothing to do with games but everything to do with Jenna Jameson.

He's heading a few projects now, I remember, from an article on the most influential people in the history of the gaming industry. Gamespot, I believe.

Just now, I found something on E2000, these massive gaming/entertainment areas. One was supposed to open in Sunnyvale, California. Any news on this from the California members?
