Great. I've just found out that my vertical moniter-thingy works with an Xbox RGB cable, and Shiki 2 doesn't really look much better than the old one, so I'll save about $20 and buy this, instead of the JAP version...

Sweet - who ever thought that the bawkz would become THE next gen machine for 2D games? Things seem to be headed that way it seems.

I pray to the mighty man above that they don't turn this game into Mobile Light Force 3. After what happened to the first one, I really hope they don't change the game like they did.

Yea, they are going to call it a different name, but nothing as bad as Mobil Light Force 2.

"XS Games announced they will publish the PS2 shooter Castle Shikigami 2 in US in August. The Japanese version Shikigami no Shiro 2 was released by Taito earlier in January."

So at least it has a decent name.

I own this game on the GC, and it's one of my favorite shooters. Definitely will be worthwhile no matter how badly they butcher the artwork for it.

Is there any difference between Mobile Light Force and this game besides the name and the cover?

MLF 1 is really Gunbird 1 from Psikyo, they just took out the whole story and changed the character's name, other then that it's the same game.

MLF 2 on the other hand is Shikigami 1 and they totally changed the game. All the characters have English names, and they also have English voices. And the voices are terrible.

I also didn't really like the game too. If you died and you weren't powered up you were as good as dead on later levels. I made it to the third stage and quit because I sucked at it.

But, since I've heard good things about the second one so I'll pick it up anyway because I just need a good SHMUP to play. BTW, if anybody has any pictures or videos of the game please post them, I've haven't seen them yet.

That's not changing the game... It's the same game, just stupid new voices. Right?

Yeah, changing the voices doesn't really bother me, especially if I haven't heard the original. Besides, how would you know if the original Japanese voices weren't just as cheezy? ;)

Japanese voices are allways cheesy they are the worlds worst actors unless you like overacting ofcourse
