I'm at the end of my rope here, Linking up 2 Naomis is getting too frustrating!

This is what I have so far :

Naomi Motherboard
Naomi Motherboard
GD-Rom Drive
GD-Rom Drive
Communication board
Optic Fiber Connectors

Now, I just got the Communication board in the mail, and I'm surprised to see I only got 1. Do I only need 1, or do I need to shell out another $65 for a 2nd Comm. Board??

And about that, do I even NEED the Communication board? I read up on this Link Up thing, and neo-geo 2's website says "plug your linkable Naomi game into the top of the communication board" :spock:

BUT, I am trying to Link up 2 GD-Rom games, not Cartridge games...

Now what do I do?

I need help from someone who has done this before, and may even have the setup still!! :help:

Help me out guys! :crying:

Here you go, you should find all your answers :smirk:

Look under the Hardware section and it tells you how to link motherboards among other things. Laters...

I already saw that, but it doesn't say anything about linking GD-Roms.

Anyway, I've been talking to a guy who seems to know his stuff, and he says for various games, I NEED the Link Board, and 2 Fiber optic cables... :(

Ok, the best guess right now is that even for GD-Rom, we need the link board... :(

What is the RJ45 connector on the GD-Rom board for? I thought that was the port for connecting them together...
