Strange King of Fighters 98 song...

There is one song in King of Fighters 98 that I had never listened while playing the AES version (and I played a lot, I can assure you that), but when I started playing the MVS cart more, it started "showing up" once in a while, when playing a Kyo Kusanagi vs Iori Yagami match...

Does anyone know of a MVS-only song or something similar?

There are two songs that play for kyo vs iori. One will play when kyo is p1 and iori p2, the other is when iori is p1 and kyo is p2.
I never noticed any difference between the mvs and aes for these songs.

Yeah I think they use their songs from KOF 97 if I remember correctly.

Do you mean Cool Jam? Iori's theme from the Pocket series?

Actually, the song title is Arashi no Saxophone, it was also Iori's team in kof95, but in 98, they remixed it a bit

Arashi No Saxophone '98 is present. But Cool Jam is also present in the game. As is Arashi No Saxophone 2 from KOF'96, used for Vice and Mature.

I normally only hear Arashi No Saxophone '98 when facing Iori when he's in his '96 team. I'll have to test hearing Cool Jam again.
