Ok,i have reached the final steps or my supergun, and i bumped into a problem.I dont own a multimeter to measure the voltage of my psu,so this is where you guys come in.Can someone let me borrow a multimeter,i will send you money first to ship to me,and then i will ship it back again myself.I would really appreciate this and i sware to God himself that i will return the multimeter, with no damage to it.Please consider this, and pm me or post it up to let me know. Thanks Tim

If I was in your area you would be welcome to use mine.

You can pick up an inexpensive (Chinese/Taiwan manufactured) basic digital multimeter for approx 20 bucks I would imagine. Cheap meters are reasonably accurate nowadays. Something like this would be adequate for your requirement.
(prices in Australian dollars, so X 0.7 for US, prices probably better in the US also)
The one top right would be ideal, cost US$ 15.00

By the time you mess around with freight etc, it may be worth biting the bullet and investing in one. You will probably need to use it in the future, especially if you ever get a cab.

Just my 2 cents

are you sure you have the testing pins plugged into the right place ? Does it have three places to plug it into ? If not take it back to radio shack and ask them for your money back or how to use it .

Try testing it out on a battery . you know a aa or somthing

remember to probe both the ground and the hot wire..... the voltage reading is the difference between the two....

also, some psu's won't power unless there is a current being drawn by a pcb or other device....
