WTB: consolized MVS system

Hello,
Im new to the whole neo geo scene (well the whole legit non emulated scene anyways) and was looking to buy a consolized MVS. if anyone has any info on where i can find a seller for one of these systems it would be much appreciated.
I checked ebay and couldnt find anything there and I looked on google and came up here.
Dous anyone know what these go for price wise. iv seen a few sold for about $400. is that the going rate or dous it vary?

Well you can hit someone called kennyboy, snk@wowway.com. I cant vouch for any of this guys work, but many hate him on these forums. He makes some.


A guy in Germany makes them also. His name is supergoose79, supergoose@gmx.de. He has a good sleek black design I have seen. I cant vouch for his work either.


JMKurtz makes modded systems and does some quality work. I dont know if he makes Consolized MVS systems though. You might want to ask. jmkurtz@columbus.rr.com

Most people complain about his prices - but he's never scammed anyone to my knowledge, and has always been a great seller to me. He has modded a couple of systems for me, and both of them work great.

I've currently got a deal going with supergoose79 for a consolized 4-slot. He seems like a really cool guy, and his work is well-respected.

There are a few whiners who are upset because they feel he has caused an increase in prices for various Neo related items. In reality, it is a free market and people are free to sell and buy for whatever they wish, and whining about it really just makes people look stupid. Ebay is a big cause of inflated prices, because it is a huge market that ties together bidders from around the world.

Kenny boy has done nice work on consolized systems and mods, so there is no problem using his services and trusting his products. He also backs his products up so if you have a problem, he will resolve it and not let it go.

$400 has to be the minimum + you get what you pay for ...

I've got a 4-slot for sale. It's matt black, has Neo Geo stickers just like my avatar and a blue LED on it. Unibios 1.2 is also installed as well as a memory card reader and credit LEDs. It only outputs RGB though so unless you can support that it will be useless to you.
Don't know how much I want yet for it as I've only just decided to sell it. No joysticks will be included though as I'm keeping them for my next unit. And I'll charge in UK pounds so it could prove to be costly for overseas buyers.

Everyone else answered the question. Its true about the whiners though.


You get what you pay for. I've done the math and parts are expensive. Then you have to add in the labor costs. I hope all the information helps.
