Capcom Cps3 Suicide?

I was planning of getting some CPS3 Street Fighter kit... do CPS3 games have the infamous battery suicide? If yes, is it possible to bring them back from the dead, like cps2shock.com do with CPS2 boards?

Yes, CPS3 games have a suicide battery in the cart and no, they cannot be brought back from the dead (at least for the moment) unless Capcom does it for you.

Also, the battery is more tricky to change than in CPS2, since you cannot leave the board without power in any moment or it will die.

I was also reading that it VERY easy to accidently kill a CPS3 game because of static. Maybe I should stay clear... There are some CPS2 titles I`d like but they cost too much (like PROGEAR)...
