Anyone seen some really old video games lurking around?
When several of us MN folks headed out to djdelly's local small town theater, they had some amazingly old games. In addition to some 80s classics like Silk Worm, they actually had Midway's Datsun 280 Zzzap in working condition: which is suspiciously close to Atari's "Night Driver" -the very first game to use "3D" effects [pylons]. Both came out in the same year, Datsun was supposed to by called "Midnight Driver", but no doubt they felt that was too close of a name -at the time all games ripped each other off. While Atari pioneered stuff, the belief at the time was not to sue copycats -rather just keep coming up with new ideas.
According to KLOV its from '76. That makes is older than most member here.

I'm tempted to try and buy it so it'll be in safe hands. I wonder if they'll sell for less than $100... [it would be comedy if I ended up talking to some old man who said "What? I paid a full $500 for that game and, dag-nabbit, I expect that much!")
Anyone else seen some of these older darlings around? (they don't need to be nearly 30 years old. Lets aim for pre-JAMMA [approximately 1985]).
