Red helicopter problem on MS3

All of a sudden now on Mission 2 when I kill the red copter first it's not causing the chain reaction, thus ruining my game and making me start all over. Clearly it can't just be that you kill the red first as I always thought. What else is there to it?

your are killing the red one too fast before all the formation appears on screen.

wait until all helicopters show up to kill the red one

Try to destroy the red heli while they're all lined-up.

This is one of the few parts of the game I feel like using grenades. Climb the cliff and then jump and throw the grenades. It'll work.

You're right! Apparently I got so fast at it that I killed it *too* quickly. Thanks! Saves me a lot of grief.
