Without getting unnecessarily wordy, today is my last full radio show as an undergrad at UCLA. For the past three years, I've played punk and metal (i.e Bad Religion, Alice in Chains, Megadeth, Pennywise, etc) to my heart's content. And today will be the last full effort of said playing. Relevant info as follows...

UCLARadio.com
Phone #s: 310.825.9999 and (possibly on-air) 310.794.9348
AOL Instant Messanger: Bruin Radio

It all goes down via Windows Media in 128 or 56k and QuickTime in 56k, all from the hours of 4-6PM Pacific. Hope you like what you hear! And if ya don't, drop a request!

Damn, should've said something earlier. Sounds damn good minus the Pennywise ;) Ever play Pantera, Sepultura, Mudvayne, anything along those lines?

Also, you ever heard of Mad Caddies?

I should know, the shit band comes from my hometown (Hermosa)

Try listening to Guttermouth or Smut Peddlers instead, great bands from HB.

fucking hell  dem bands you mentioned are amazing. Big Pantera fan. And Tomahawk are awesome too.

Alice in Chains is one untouchable classic rock 'n roll band. Anyone who has them in their playlist has my immediate respect.

AiC >> Jesus AND Santa Claus (put together).

you have clearly seen the light. even their weaker material in their self titled album (with the 3 legged dog on the cover) is miles better than the derivative drivel bands like Godsmack have since spewed. Jerry/Layne partnership for me was as good as John/Paul (Beatles) partnership (though George was the most talented song writer IMO).

If you had added Soundgarden to your tally (maybe some mellow Screaming Trees), it would have been a perfect listening session for me.
