Two bottles of Niquil.

Drunk at the same time.

When you wake up from the coma in a week, your cold will be gone.

Hmm, I can't help you with non-prescript meds as I have no idea as to the brands you have over there, but drink alot of hot lemon tea, preferrably with honey added - from my experience it cuts the sickness half a week out of it's lifespan. Secondly - this one is obvious but certain folks like to forget so I'll type just in case - stay in warmth. Go to bed whenever you can and avoid going out.
Also, to the contrary of what jindo said, don't take a bath. People tend to react to that differently when sick, and it might jumpstart the condition for good just from the contrast you'll experience when you get out of the tub.

Sorry to hear that your not feeling well...I hope you get better soon..
I don't colds much maybe once/twice a year...My Son seems to have the beginning to what looks to be a cold..

Me personally.. I just can't stand sitting/lying around when I get sick..(It drives me crazy/I'm to hyper)
I also hardly ever take any medication..

When I get sick I have to get out and get fresh air,and move around.

I think it's actually the worst thing to do but I seem to get better quicker when I just don't lie in bed...

If you're not allergic to sudafed-type products, I'd say either take Benadryl or Actifed (Not Both) and be prepared to sleep for a few days. You'll also want to drink some orange juice and some brewed tea. You can mix warm tea with restaurant-style honey if your throat becomes sore.

If it lasts more than 3-5 days like that, go see a doctor. You most probably have a sinus infection and will need an antibiotic and a decongestant.

"Dayqull and Nightquil come in two colors: Red and Green. And they are the only 2 things in this world that taste like red and green."-Lewis Black. Try some of those and drink lots, of water. I mean like a gallon a day. You'll piss a lot, but you'll flush your system out.

Momma knows best, take the CHICKEN SOUP.

There was a medical study a while back that also isolated some kind of organic substance that was the cure to your cold ailments. Mom tested, doctors approved. :buttrock:

here's a little secret: if you don't do something about a cold, it'll go away in about two weeks. if you do do something about a cold, it'll go away in about two weeks. still, the best thing you can do is to drink lots of clear liquids to flush out the toxins so you'll feel a little better while you wait for the cold to pass.
