I was searching pre release games on a web site game (major retailer in the UK) and found this : http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=8&mid=321053

I take it then it's been announced to be in development and release for xbox? or do you think they are just guessing the obvious and allowing you to pre order a unconfirmed game?

I thought Shenmue III got shit canned? If it does come out I'll spring for a new XBOX pronto though. Shemue is the fookin' bomb indeed.

When recently asked about Shen Mue III, Yu Suzuki was not very...hrm....optimistic in his response.

I think that they are just guessing. I mean Sega said that Shenmue 3 would be an xbox exclusive... about 3 years ago.

I'm hoping it will be moved to the next generation of consoles , with some of the best console graphics ever witnessed, just to get the mainstreamers to buy it, and in turn, the recognition it will undoubtedly deserve.

Shenmue II is still my fave game ever, absolutely untouchable.

I thought Shenmue sucked, but I just went back and finished 2...it makes
the idea of no more Shenmue games pretty hard to take, considering how
good they were/are.

Shenmue 3 will never happen.

Maybe, Yu Suzuki should sell the movie rights to Quentin Tarantino and he can make another revenge Kung Fu flick. Now that would be awesome, everybody dies.
