I can't name that many:

SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos
Capcom Vs SNK 1

Crimson Tears the new Action / RPG from Spike and Capcom. It's basically an SF version of Diablo, with 3D sprites rendered in 2D.

THE BAD:
-Diablo got boring and repetitive quickly. Spike hasn't bothered to learn from Blizzard's mistake. The same four or five backgrounds appear over and over in each stage, and each stage is three or four levels long, so you see the same things over and over and over. Not much variety in terms of opponents either

-the 2D in 3D designs look great close up. For most of the game the perspective doesn't give you a close up look at your characters. They could have been left in 3D and it wouldn't have mattered

-bland BGM's don't match the action. They sound like Zamphir meets techno in a bad way.

THE GOOD:
-cool character design, theme song (some minor J-Pop stars collaborated on it), and background story

On the whole though, the bad parts outweigh the good. I'd avoid this unless you're a total Capcom fanboy.

Super Mario Sunshine (its.. hmm ok , but 64 owns it, I was expecting FAR too much and was rightly let down)

Mario Kart double dash ( I didn't like this at ALL when I saw it fist, shitty kart design, bad characters/tracks etc, but now I own it I've done a full 180 near enough, fun as hell in multiplayer, shite in 1p due to its AI, but hey , thats a challenge, keeps you coming back)

NFS Undergrounds.. useless, after porsche unleashed and HP2.. no fucking contest. shite.

apart from that .. hmm

hmm.. not much I guess, I don't play new games really. you're just asking to be dissapointed hyping up anything new (hmm maybe re4, cough)

Rebel Strike III

That's about it lately - but the disappointment that Rebel Strike brought was worth at least 4 slightly $htye titles.

i guess the past 5 games i was unimpressed with would be

1.devil may cry 2
cool concept but lost too much of the tight gameplay and focused more on weapons
2.final fantasy 11
because they got too dependent on others and too repatative with gameplay i know this is a mmorpg but i hate more than anything is repatative gameplay.
3.state of emergency
what can i say but that this game is horrible it had a cool concept again but the missions were too annoying and had alot of glitches
4.nightshade
i would have too say i liked shinobi but this is pretty much the sme game with different charecter and different moves but not really any new gameplay.
5.otogi
i liked this game from when i played the demo on xbox but when i played the game it was again too repatative it got old pretty quick.

EDIT: nevermind...

Hmm, can't think of that many, but if I were to name just one,
I'd have to say Devil May Cry 2.

Out of curiousity, are you liking MGS2 any better now that you are playing it again?

I still HATE "Raiden" but yeah, I'm actually getting "into the zone" with MGS II this time around. I don't find anything odd or wrong with Kojima's storytelling either, but then he and I are both winded individuals who take the long way around the pond to get to the point of any given subject as it's the mark of a High Context individual. We point more emphasis on the gist of a subject rather than it's conclusion. I actually like playing for a bit and then watching the movie-like scenes with the whole convoulted plot.

This one simply don't have what to takes to take over FFT.

Yeah, looks & graphics isn't about everything, the game play is stupid and pathetic. ITs a piece of Overrated shit.

Hmm, I'll give this a try. Keep this in mind, that this is in no particular order:

Manhunt: It's all about the controls, or lack thereof, that pushed me away from this title.

Xenosaga: As a fan of the original, I was really looking forward to this. After spending nearly six hours on it and playing 40 minutes, I decided it was best for this game and me to part ways.

Tekken 4: After spending time with this game this past week, I decided that Namco no longer cares about this series. Flashy appearances do not mean quality, but rather gameplay. This was made more obvious sitting next to a Soul Calibur 2 cabinet.

Final Fantasy X-2: As if Square couldn't drop enough in my eyes. FFX and XI were bad enough but to put out this travesty of a game saddens me. What is the market for X-2? Barbie fans? First-time RPG gamers? I demand to know right now!

ESPN MLB Baseball: A good game, I'm not yet sure whether I'm more disappointed in the drop from last year's version or impressed with EA for doing more than a roster update for their fabulous MVP Baseball.

Honourable mention: MGS 2, but Substance fixed most of the problems I had with it. Not all, but some. I can't wait for Snake Eater, though.

I don't want to rant any further. Many of you have already listed some of the other games I was disappointed with.
