Well, i've been playing 99evo for sometime now... and i have gotten most of the strikers (including the Dark versions), but i still have a few more questions:

-How do i unlock Syo and Gai? (mine is JPN version)
-The "Level 1" that shows with each striker, what does it do? how can i "level up" and what wil be the changes?

well that's all, any help will do, thanks

In order to unlock Syo and Gai, you need to have King of Fighters Battle de Paradise I think, then upload them from your NGPC. The US version required that you clock up to 130 hours in order for these two strikers to appear.

And in order to level up your strikers, you need to use the battle ability points to purchase them. You can do this with the DC, the higher your difficulty level and the better your fight (for instance, finishing your opponent with a DM means mucho ability points), the more ability points you earn. Then you use the accrued points toward purchasing leveled up strikers.

Leveled-up strikers often get better priority, are easier to gauge where they'll land on screen, and often do much better damage. Even just level 2 Yamazaki does a great deal of damage for a striker.

After you finish fighitng a team you should be given a point-score.

Easiest way to gain points (at least in the US release) is to set the level to 8 and cheese your way through a few rounds.

After you get a feel for how high you can get your points, purposefully loose (so your points aren't cut in half for the continue service). Those points should go toward purchacing strikers. Unless the JPN release is dead-set on the Battle De Paradise link-up.

Forgot where I read this but I use this for point whoring----er, scoring: :D

1) set Options for Difficulty Level 8 and Max Super Gaige
2) start a team game with Krizalid as one member (and anyone else you want)
3) use Krizalid and your Infinite Super Gauge to nacho cheese your way through the first CPU team...
4) lose to the next team and let time run out (GAME OVER)

this should net you about 800-900 points...which should save you a bit of time in saving for those extra strikers, especially Fio & Alfred

enjoy! :multi_co:
