my right speaker just died...

on my one slot big red. well i shouldn't say died. when i hook up the speaker connection to the headphone jack (mvs-f1) both speakers worked fine. Am i dealing with a faulty board? please help.

clean stuff , clean your carts , blow out the mobo slots , clean the edge connector , are your cables all properly concted to the speaker itself , unattach reattach to the speaker itself , is this a gun or a cabinet ? sound work through the heaphone out ? I would think the board is fine then , but i have had board that one of the sounds blew out the trace on the board , then why not hook up the speakers to headphone out ?

oops. i had the mono switch on.
