Played it at E3.
Well...I TRIED to play it at E3. The perspective is really bizarre to deal with. You move your ship with the left joystick and shoot with the right joystick. Basically you shoot in the direction that an enemy is ON SCREEN.
Let me explain. If you're in the lower left corner of the screen, and in the upper right of the screen is a giant ship, you hold the stick up-right. However, in PERSPECTIVE that ship may actually be down a long tunnel away from your ship on screen, the game accounts for this and your ship starts shooting "toward" the ship in the distance even though you're holding up-right.
Kind of weird. I couldn't figure out the secondary weapons though (some kind of lock-in similar to Rez/Panzer). I can't wait until it releases and I get a chance to get into it more in-depth.
The closest comparison I can make is its like Rez meets R-Type meets Armada (underrated shmup/RPG on the DC).
