I say, <10 posts and > 3 months as a member == teh deletion.

dmhawkmoon said:Most rules would be unfair though. What if I go into a coma for 4 months cause of an aneurysm? Seriously, though, some members lose access for a while. At best you might want to delete accounts with no posts after a few months.... But yeah, I think if the first 100 times it was suggested it didn't happen then it won't happen now. If you want to, just sort by post count...

So those with 0-10 posts whow have not posted within a year either joined to ask one question, (which is ok, but sort of "hit and run" like to me, or joined, and forgot. Delete them.![]()

I think the number dropped from 10,000 to 7,000-ish.
Of course, that number has gone back up to 8,000 since.
Meh, it's all kinda pointless really.

However, now there's a new factor that no one has directly mentioned:
The War Room is now -1. There are several members who have hundreds of posts countered by their hundreds of posts in the War Room (in addition to the 0 posts in Suggestions and Market forums).
One thing I've noticed: everytime we go through and sweep the member ranks, we soon get nearly the same number of 0-1 post accounts. I figure its because so many lurkers do actually come back over and over (they occasionally pipe up to say "don't delete me") that they quickly create a new account to make up for the one we swept away. I actually saw a guy who'd been here for almost a year make his second post the other day.
I don't know when the next sweep will be, but those are factors to keep in mind.
