Really though, they hyped this merger for weeks, and how do they kick off the brand new network?

BY SHOWING RE-RUNS THAT ARE MONTHS EVEN YEARS OLD OF G4 SHOWS.

Yeah, we've had G4 for a while here in Detroit. When I heard that Comcast was merging Tech TV with it, I felt so bad for Tech TV fans. Now, mind you, I've never seen anything on that channel, but there's no way it can be as bad as G4! It trys so hard to be MTV for gamers and the result is the shittiest channel on the dial. The hosts of these shows are lame, so unfunny it's actually painful to watch and know NOTHING about the subject matter. It's no surprise the best show on the channel is just a half hour clip show of videogame trailers and cg movies with no host.

The day I finally completely gave up on G4 was when, one of their fucking shows actually put Shenmue as the second worst game of all time! I don't care what your opinion on the game, you have to at least admit it doesn't deserve that.

G4 had a few cool shows - some of the Icons specials were pretty good. The show with the Diane Mizota chick :drool_2:

was usually ok too. Most of the other stuff was $hyte, however.

Oh well, the cable company just jacked up the rates through the fucking roof, so I won't have to worry about anyway since I'm cancelling

. Talk about some greedy mother fuckers ....

It's a real shame, because I loved TechTV. The only G4 shows I ever watched were Icons and maybe the occasional Starcade, the rest of their programming is worthless. Nobody gives a fuck what Tommy Tallarico thinks about the latest Madden game.

lmao, yea all they seem to show is condom and pringles commercials (what fat nerds need with condoms i don't know.....). also when the channel goes off the air around 4-5am, they used to have those girls gone wild infomercials on for like 2 hours.

morgan webb is a dog, but i'd titty fuck the hell out of her.

this could actually be a good thing for G4, they only have about 5 shows, and would show the same show like 4 times daily to fill up air time, with all the techtv shows mixed in, i won't have to see portal 5 times a day.

i wanna see morgan webb and diane mizota in lesbian porn dressed up as DOA girls.

Victor is the only reasonable one on Judgment Day and Electric Playground. He at least tries to give the game a chance but Tommy just hates everything that has potential or is a good game. I mean Mario and Yoshi figures in Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes is a bad thing? WTF?
