I've been looking for Fredrik Thorendal's Special Defects: Sol Niger Within 3.33

Is not at tower records, or Borders etc.... Amazon.com is sold out. I don't feel like paying 40 dollars for it off ebay.

Relapse, the people who released it, don't even appear to have a listing for it on their website. They have an artist listing for the Special Defects band, but no discography or anything. I was thinking direct may be your best bet, but since they don't even list it, no luck there.

You can try this service, thought I don't know anything about it. I was searching around and this is one thing I've found in terms of MP3s.

I'll see what else I can find.

If you are looking for a good independent music store, I can't recommend http://www.tonevendor.com enough, but they don't have the CD you are looking for either... so... yeah,

Man, you're going to have a fuck of a time finding that CD. I just checked CD Japan, Amazon Japan, Amazon France and a couple other online stores. Sold out everywhere.

I'll talk to one of the guys at work who listens to metal and see if he has the CD. If he does, and is willing to sell it, how much would you pay? If he doesn't want to sell, would you settle for a copy?

I found this on eBay, but it looks like it could crawl up past th $40 mark and it's not even the Relapse release...

Use good metal distros like The End Records before using Amazon. In general, if you're looking for small label or limited released metal stuff, you won't find it online. Case in point - Northern Heritage, total cult Finnish black metal label. All their releases get up into the hundreds of dollars on eBay, but if you're willing to order from a print catalog, you can get them at list price. Call specialized record stores near you, and ask someone whether they can get it for you.

If you absolutely can't find something, use GEMM, mostly for record collectors, but in this case, there're some things to look at here.

The relapse distro has had that Fredrik Thorendal solo cd for years. Try relapse.com, or try to get their mail distro order form.
