Are people from New Jersey mall rats?

I was watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien last night and he did that sketch with the state quarters and he did one for New Jersey about them being mall rats. Is that true? Do people in NJ hang out in malls all day?

When I do go, they are "usually" crowded as hell. So there definately has to be some truth to this.

Some malls have arcades, so there tends to be some positives to this stereotype.

Yeah, they're pretty cool I guess .... but I liked them better when they just made relatively brief appearances.

Well "Strikes Back" was their final stand. They got so much screen time because it was kinda their retirement party.
