After seeing that awesome 14:58 Trailer of Snake Eater and remembering the awesomeness of MG II: Solid Snake on MSX2... those screen shots do not impress me, and it saddens me to think where we as the gamer did not get ANY Metal Gear games during the 16-Bit era, the MG games are going to end up being a washed out franchise. I've beaten all but SOL {though I'm halfway through it now... better late than never, but it took awhile to "accept" Raiden} and must say that the idea of a CARD GAME, is total bullshit.

Yes, they are, because I see screenshots of Metal Gear Acid on Gamespot.com. It's going to be for the PSP, and it looks damn good for a handheld system. I bet the price tag for the PSP is astronimical tho.

I'm not impressed. Yeah, its on a handheld, so it looks good, but its NOT the "graphics equal to MGS2" that everybody is touting it to be. Has some good texture work, but the polys are not there. I am impressed it's handheld, but not impressed by the game thus far.
