Great.

I've become very bored of emulation after 5 or so years, i'm more interested in classic collections for consoles like Midway's current efforts as I find my PC less and less accessible. Maybe I do need an Xbox.

Despite it all im more willing to spend £20 on SF2 anniversary than click file/open at the moment. Dark days these be.

Interesting, but why not just buy a DC? They're cheap enough these days.

about as useful as emulating a 32x, just buy the fucking games and system, they are plentiful.

I already have a Dreamcast, but I'm still very interested in its emulation and the emulation of other systems in the future.

I really want to see this in action (I've seen screenshots), but I refuse to put Real Player on my PC. Does anyone know of another program that will play the RM format?

DCs are fairly cheap, these days, and games are also. Nothing compares to the real shit! :D

I guess it's kind of cool but it will require a lot of power. Just hook up a vga box to your DC and you'll be set for life.

Sorry there are none. RM = Real Media. And its like windows own media file type. It cannot be used by any other player. But I'm with you I hate Real Player it pisses me off.

I still want good Saturn emulation :(

Did you try that Giri Giri hack? It doesn't work with all games, but the ones with which it does are pretty much perfect. It's great.

Yeah, Real Alternative works.
I prefer Media Player Classic though (comes with K-Lite codec pack), which will play .RM and .MOV as well as your normal video/audio files.

It looks like the old WMP from Windows 98, before MS added all the useless shit.

I'd love that. I mean, the DC is a great machine, but I really would love to have an all in one system. I hate this whole "how many systems can you fit in one room" method of thinking so many of you adhere to. It goes against my personal aesthetic.

Fantastic, people still fail to realize that one day these machines will stop working... at least I know I can get rid of my DC now and play the games on my computer later. EMU = <3

Exactly. I only use emulation to try out games I've never played before on retro consoles or if there is a patched version of a Jap only game and seeing as the DC is so cheap now, it's no hassle for me to buy one and a bundle of games for 30 odd quid. I mean, I have all my PCE, FC, SFC, & GB games on ROM, but still play them on the original system anyway. I haven't touched my ZSNES for well over a year.

Meh, i mean more along the lines of how far PSX emulation has progressed. Something nice and easy that any retard can do. I hear good things about Giri Giri when you can get it to work, but i don't think its worth the hassle.
