Question about Candy Cabinet & MVS boards...

After years of thinking about it, I'm finally getting a candy cabinet - it's called Super Neo29 Candy (not the one with LCD, I didn't want that). I'll have it around mid-June.

This cab doesn't have a "select" button. Can I use any MVS board in this cabinet? Or am I limited to a 1 slot? If I add a 2 or 4 slot, can I add a select button myself? (I'm OK about doing a little drilling and soldering if needed.)

Anyone have a similar model Candy? What MVS did you install?

You can..

Install a select button..

You only need it if you want to have the ability to quick select through games..otherwise with a 2-4-6 slot the game will demo through each game switching to the next..
Then by pressing 1 OR 2 player you can choose/start the game when it comes around to it.

I'm not sure if your cabs harness will be Jamma or MVS so you may need to do some wiring changes..

Pin d is select down, and pin 26 select up on the mvs edge connect. (these connections are not used in straight jamma wiring)
wire the switch(s) to short these pins to ground on the cab and you have your cart select switch, usually only #26 would be connected to switch up to the next
cart.
