My girfriend's pregnant. We have a 2 year old son so he'll be having to share.
Its wierd, you don't know how happy this kind of things makes you until you hear it and/or give it some time to settle. Its like this mad chemical reaction goes on inside of you and you think you're going to explode but you don't. You just change your mode of thinking once more.

Our first came by 'accident' and this one, well, just because we have enough love for each other to risk it. Th bottom line is sometimes you don't chose fate but fate choses you. It was that way the first time around anyway.

Congrats man.

I keep hearing that watching your children experience things is the closest you can get to being reborn...that must be really exciting! Hope all goes well.

Having unprotected sex is not fate. It's statistics.

Now get married if you have enough love.....

Oh and congratulations.

Just don't name the kid Anime...

I was thinking of naming it Buttasuperb. If that's alright with you.

Guys I really appretiate the gestures of good will, I really do.

I have lived with my girl for the past three years, and we own a house together. I will get married but as its the kind of thing you ought to do once in your life I want to do it right and its gonna cost alot, so we're putting it off for a year or two. Still, I have to say... maybe you guys do have a point. By the way, can straight people still get married?? Or is it too gay now :p

wow dude you seem to be breeding an awful lot!
heh, well, you have to push them genes on. Evolution represent.

first time was an accident, and fate is what happens to your life when you become a statistic ;)

Now let me get back to holding my woman's hair as she throws up (pregnancy is no holyday :crying: ).

Felicidades y buena suerte, Ignacio!

And by the way, you really ought to get married. I will probably do so in less than a year from now, although my gf and I plan to wait for some more time before we start making babies as well :make_fac: .

And by the way, just curious: are you Catholic, Anglican, Atheist, Satanist...?

you could say I'm a catholic, but had no choice in the matter - not that I'm complaining. Went to Jesuit school in england between 11 and 18 - I'm even named after the founder of the Jesuits - you don't get more hardcore catholic than that :loco: I believe in God even if I'm not a practicing catholic. But that's the romantic in me, I don't know if I 'truely' think He exists.

Yeah, I want to get married but she kind of doesn't at the moment so that's ok.
I think its totally apropriate to wait to start a family, it makes it so much easier if you can plan and make space for the way your life is going to change. For us, well, our first came at a time when having kids was the last thing o our minds. Seriously - upto 4 years ago I was the most irresponsible person I knew.
But you know, abortion is not for us so there was really no other option than to buckle down ALOT.

Well, I can relate to all of that. I was also raised a Catholic, then I became Atheist, and now I am sort of wanting to believe in something but not quite succeeding. Heh.

And I totally relate to the fact you didn't go for abortion. I don't think my girlfriend would ever think of doing such a thing, and neither would I. Not because of some religious compuction, but because we would feel like commiting a murder, in a way. If I was you, I would have done the same, I think.
