The Silent Hill series is a complete masterpiece.

Resident Evil cannot hold a candle to the atmosphere that SH creates.

I'm not too sure about TMNT on the PS2 though...after about the millonth "slice and dice," I had just about had enough.

I always go back to the SNES TMNT games.

SNES Turtles in Time. The best TMNT game ever. Only TMNT 2:The Arcade Game might stand up to it.

Ring of Red

I think in general, apart from being the only things available at launch, first generation games are often misjudged/dissmissed in the longterm.

*Yeah I'm currently trying to find Ring of Red either Brand New or *MINT used... but so far I've only stumbled upon badly scratched up copies. From what I have played of it, it's definately one of the better titles and underrated indeed. ---I just wonder WTF most peoples major malfunction is with not taking care of their disc based video games? How hard is it to put a game in it's jewel case when your not playing it? I have friends that make me wanna riddle them with MG42 rounds for just leaving a game face down on the carpet mere inches away from the game's open case!

God so many of them:

ZOE2: Anibus
Mark of Kri
Ico
Onimusha 3 (must play)
Arc the Lad
Wild Arms 3 (not as good as it should be, but very enoyable)
Ring of Red
Fatal Frame (haven't played 2 yet, but I'm assuming it's as good as the first)
PS2 RPG's in general

not sure if these are underrated, but here goes:

Contra SS
Twisted Metal Black
Rygar
Prince of Persia
Suikoden III
ZOE 1
Dark Cloud 2
Ace Combat 4
Ridge Racer 5

I'm sure I'm missing a lot.

Sky Gunner
Sub Rebellion

I love Sub Rebellion very much........

I tried sky gunner and couldn't get into it.
I haven't played sub rebellion though, wanted to since it's made by IREM
my picks are the choro Q games,
I've always been a choro Q fan, 2 and 3 on the ps were so cool.
they're called everyday racers I think now.
there was also a search and destroy game that debuted at 9.99 that is a choro Q
war game, never tried it out though.

Give it a try. It's a strategic underwater shooting game. It makes you think before making any move.

It's fun and I still haven't finished it yet..........:)

My next IREM game will be Disaster Report.

Both Sub & Disaster are around $14 - $19

Disgaea was a great SRPG, indeed under-rated.

Kinetica... well... looked like a weird XG spinoff, haha.
