Hey guys, I have an issue with the monitor in my MVS Goldcab. Every once in a while the screen with fade to a very bright blue and the fade back into normal colors again. This issue seems to come and go but I'm afraid that it might be unfixable, anyone else have this problem?

Now I'll be moving into an apartment in the suburbs of Philly (close to Ambler) in August and was wondering if anyone new where I could get a replacement monitor. I'm a novice and am not particularly technical, so is it possible to install a new monitor without any real experience? Also, where can I find a decent 19 inch monitor thats compatible with my 2 slot?

Thanks for any help.

Probably a dry joint on the monitors blue video drive trasistor, look for dry joints on the CRT base pc board. The RGB video drive transistors have heatsinks attached, check the solder joints on them.
