Here's a picture of a "Area 51: Site Four" board. Sorry about the quality of the picture...

On the board itself it says "WELL THIS RATES ABOUT A NINE ON MY WIERD SHI*T-O-METER"

Upon looking at another board (a Maximum Force) it also had a little message printed right on the board too..."PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT AT THE THERMONUCLEAR WARHEADS"

I wonder if this happens on many boards or the techs at Atari have a sense of humor :tickled:

*Some funny shit indeed. I can see it barely, but I see it. Wonder if the PCB board for Altered Beasts says: "Welcome To Your Doom!" now though.

Stuff like that has been going on for years. SOme boards have stuff like "fuck bill gates" and stuff like that on them. Also they design the patterns into microchips as well. So the only way you can see them is to look with a nice microscope.

all in good humor

Unless it was a play on words. (ie: wired/wierd/weird) :smirk: But its funny none-the-less. I seem to remember a site that was devoted to locating these messages. I'll have to look around for it again.
