im trying to pay someone on a western union account and i need to know what state new jersey is in,is it new york ?? sorry to be dumb

New Jersey is in... New Jersey. I don't think there is a town of NJ, but there is the state.

Seems silly to US people, but when you're from a different country it's a bit different.

Now, had you actually been in the US and asked the same question, I probably woulda laughed my ass off, but you're not, so it's all good.

NJ is that little state (and most densely poplated state) that NY will never forgive itself for being allowed to leave NY's control in the colonial days.

It's kinda like a very beuatiful, stinky hell.

Incidentally there is no New Jersey, New York that I know of, but there is a New York, New Jersey.
