Just came back from watching The Day After Tomorrow and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised.

It's a great disaster movie and the special effects are very good. It has a nice balance between humour and seriousness and dialogues, altough not exceptional, are good.

So forget about the horrible Troy movie and save your money to go watch The Day After Tomorrow, you'll definitely like it !!!

I only want to see this film if it has a quasi serious but ultimately fucked up comedy scene in it like the 80's Anti-Nuke film The Day After where a dying of nuclear radiation Jason Robard's, pieces of flesh falling off of him gets angry with another dying man squatting in the charred remains of a city to: "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

I mean everything was ruined "The Day After", anyone not in a nuke shelter military wise was going to die, the city looked the same anywhere you went, but this old geezer can differentiate his own house out of all the aftermath? While that film was serious that one scene alone is comedy gold. ---Thus is there a scene in Day After Tomorrow where a surviving character is like: "Man I'm freaking freezing, give me some hot coco." and a guy dressed for surviving the end of the world is like: "Fuck off twit, should've seen this coming."

??? If there's a scene like that I'm ALLL THERE, otherwise I'll wait for it to go to DVD as it looks like the film Twister Deep Impact and The Day After all rolled up into one.

Frame Gride 2 : Special effects are good, definitely above average. Can't go any details for legal reasons (had to sign some $%^&) but for one they don't show you the best scenes in the trailer - best scenes are in the movie itself.

Mercenary X99: this movie is 100 times better than Twister or Deep Impact combined.

As for humour there's plenty of funny touches.

Sure the movie has its down time but I was never bored during the entire thing, just realized when I got out of the theatre that 5mn where not as good as the rest of the flick.

Were there any sex scenes..... like Twister's fucking each other in midair? or the tidal wave giving the statue of liberty a blowjob? or Cow tipping?

NO sex scene at ALL !!!!!!!!!!! Just a little innocent kiss. Can you believe it they made a disaster movie without a sex scene or girl in skimpy outfits !!!

Told you, the movie IS good.
