I have a quick question about bootleg games. I have read a lot about the subject and know the basics about spotting a bootleg. I have a KOF 94, 95 and a MS 3 and the chips inside are not Toshiba chips. They look the same size in shape and are a little duller in color a dark gray instead of black like Toshiba. Numbers are printed on them. I noticed my MS 1 was a bootleg and I have had it for a while. The arcade dealer I purchased it from said he would exchange it for me, the green boards where not SNK and the soldering was bad and a lot of small rectangular chips lined up on the bottom board some of them said Goldstar on them. I noticed one or two small rectangular Goldstar chips in some games I have and want to know if these types of chips are used sometimes in originals. If the dealer sells me more bootlegs I will tell you who it is to warn you. These are the only picky questions I have left and I will know everything about bootlegs thaks to the help of you good people on this message board. Thank You!

On the message Metal Slug 3 MVS problem!!!! ttooddddyy has the same MS 3 as me. He has one that is the 1st run encrypted and a 2nd run unencrypted which is what I have. It has the dark gray chips insted of the black Toshiba that the encrypted has. What is encrypted and unencrypted. Thank You!
