Translation:

FUCK! I just got a turbografx, was all ready to play it when the bloody thing won't display a signal on my tv, I'm using rf so I guess NTSC rf won't work on PAL rf, in which case I need a scart/av cable, where can I get one? thanks guys

bunch of things to say

-every TV in Europe will never be compatible with NTSC console via an RF cable

-if you use a composite AV cable, you will be able to receive a color signal ONLY if your TV is multistandard

-if you have a crappy old TV, you need to modify your PCE to get an RGB signal
2 kinds of convo:

a) partial, where an RGB cable is directly connected into the console to the board
b) complete, where you'll able to take cable off the console

as far as I know, this bloke is very professional and cheap
send him an e-mail via ebay asking it

Get a composite/av cable is your best bet, someone around here is bound to have one.

If your tv is newish it should be fine, if its a SONY from after 1980 is will work too.

Most TV's nowadays should display an NTSC signal through RF(my TV is a 2 year old 28" widescreen and it plays ANYTHING through RF.......and it was only £240 hehehehe).

You need an RGB conversion so you can get the best out of your TG-16.The easiest thing is to just have it hardwired. If you can get hold of a PAL saturn RGB lead I can take a pic of how my PCE is hardwired and you can do the conversion yourself.

The only other thing is that you can only play US games on your TG-16,to play jap games on it you need a converter from Telegames and you can play any jap game on it.

Today I tripped over my tg16 controller cable... not only did I nearly break my back but the controller made a clean rip between connector and pin ends... grr... I'm starting to hate this console even thou I've never played it...

Anyway I do infact have a saturn scart lead lying around (I presume RGB), but I don't have that werid screw that the tg16 needs to be opened (like the one used on nintendo products), I was wondering soopafamicom would you be able to do this mod for me? I mean I'd pay you of course but the way things are looking I don't want to fuck this thing up more than I have already :smirk:

edit - while on the subject anyone want to sell me a used pad for tg16?
