Hey guys,

How does one go about swapping the bios for the MV-1B?

Is there anyway to swap out the MV-1B's bios to make it compatible with ALL games?

Input/suggestions will be highly appreciated.

The bummer with the 1B is that the bios chip is not socketed but smd, so its not just the mounting but a different config that requires a lot of messing around or an adaptor. Im sure that there was a thread on this by the supergun gurus- Supergoose where are you ?

Basically, remove the old bios, get a socket and 40 pieces of wire and wire a socket into place... I've done this for a few people if you want someone to do the work for you. If so, just drop me a line at jmkurtz@columbus.rr.com

For extra stability, you can put the socket onto a small piece of breadboard.
