The New game is comming out this October for all the current systems, including the GBA. The home versions will include 4 players, and you can unlock the orginal TMNT arcade games!!! :D

Heck, I already have the PCB's, but I'm still very excited, not just about the new games, but having the original arcade games in component video will be very nice! Hopefully they will perhaps add some nice options to them as well. We shall see!!!

OMG!!!! Man, it's like a dream come true! First we get Midway Classics 2 with MK1, 2 and 3...and now this.

I loved the first TMNT on Xbox, but the two players-only thing really just pissed me off. With 4 players, it's gonna rock. Still haven't read anything on the unlockable TMNT 1 and 2 though...where did you see that? I am *praying* it's true, as I LOVED the arcade games...

Thanks for the post, and the info...this is the first I had heard of it. :)

Very cool news.

I remember reading an interview before where they promised that would be in the first release of the new TMNT game. Only to find out that it wasn't there. Anyways, glad it's making it into the sequel.

Oh hell yeah! THMT the arcade game ATE my allowance week after week when it was released. I still remember the music from the level with the lil hopping metal thingies that would bite. Good shit!

Even though I'm a big TMNT fan, I thought part one on PS2, XBOX, and GC sucked major ass. I forced myself to play it to have memories of the old ones. I don't care if its 4 players or more (get casey and splinter in the action, why not?) they just need to make a better fighting engine, more types of enemies, and more "interactive" levels. If you don't know what i'm talking about, go play Turtles in Time already =)

If you guys are oldshool like me, I bet you guys are excited about the Megaman Annivesary Collection coming out in June also :drool_2:

The last TMNT game they made was OK. I want to get it but I don't want to spend more then 20 bucks on it.

I'm really looking forward to the arcade games on the next game.

Man, I dig TMNT, eventhough it's not great, it's still a decent Beat em up with some great difficulty. Plus: CASY JONES MODE FOOKIN" KICKS!

It's been there all the time...as far as I had read, just check Google or Midway's site.

Now, what *would* be interesting is if UMK3 was hidden in there(afterall, it's just a rom upgrade for MK3)...

Only thing that I am pissed about, is why has it taken game companies 15 fuck'n years to realize that people want ports of late 80's early 90's arcade games? :very_ang: They keep releaseing and releaseing trash from the Atari 2600 days. :shame: But at least this year we will get arcade perfect ports of Street Fighter 2, MK 1-3, TMNT 1-2, Megaman PB 1-2. :buttrock:

Guys please keep in mind that there is a good and bad side about re-releasing a game:

Good: I dont have that system anymore.....YES! I CAN PLAY IT ON PS2!

Bad: People who own the original will feel ripped off because it makes the value of the orignal game go down. Example, ever since the Megaman Anniversary Collection has been announced, ebay prices for Megaman NES cartridges have been going downhill. Can you imagine in 10 years? Final Fantasy Compilation?

True...but MegaMan: The Wiley Wars will still climb in value....;)

Capcom just can't manage to let the general public in on this gem...sad too, it's so very good...

The most expensive Megaman games I know is Megaman Soccer, Megaman X2, and X3 for the SNES, those things always in demand on ebay =)

Let's hope Capcom won't make a Megaman X Annivesary Collection because I have megaman X4, X5, X6 brand new and sealed in my closet. Then again, a Megaman X collection will sell very well, I don't blame them :very_ang:
