Hey dudes, for anyone who plays this game, have you got any tips, pointers or strategies on how to play this shitty game?

Or do you know of any cheats or stuff?

Hnoestly, it's grreat. Once you "get it" you'll love it.

What's the "Dragons Lair" style of thinking? I have it on many a console, but I've never actually played it.

Can you elaborate?

I play this game best when I put myself in a trance state of mind. I then start making mad whack passes and goals as my fingers dance with the controls and my body waves back and forth.

What is the problem, you cant score many goals?? You gotta be snap fast, long balls into the corner for the wingers to run on too is a regular tactic, long range shooting to, just try and get as many efforts on target as possible, the keepers are good, but often you can shoot over them with high power, or undewr them with as little power as possible. Cross the ball and tap as fast (shoot) as possible.

No man, the game IS the drug. You gotta get with the flow. Start making mad whack shit like instead of doing a cross you backheel the ball to another player and then you cross it then whamo! "Today's best goal!" :cool: "Rainbow!"

It's not the goals that's the problem, it's the fact that everytime I have the ball, 2-3 players are INSTANTLY Gangbanging my guy, while when THEY have the ball, I'm half a screen away from them. :mad:

And the fact that they only have 1 tactic, go off on the side, Long pass the Middle, and cheap shot in the Net! :blow_top:

Plus why is there a 3-4 second lag from pressing a button/direction to the actual move itself?

I can do that once, and then the CPU goes Apeshit on me, and gets a goal 30 seconds maximum after mine with the dreaded cheap ass Centering + Headbutt cheese.

That's why I like Ver 98 so much because the CPU isn't as cheap and the controls are more tight.

One of my favorite ways of scoring goals is from mid-field free kicks where I pass the ball to a player outside the penalty box which then converts the pass into a mad header or volley.
