I just picked up my first arcade game at an auction yesterday. IT is a SuperNeo 29 cab, but they replaced the MVS board with Street Fighter II. For some weird reason, they cut the wires to the kick harness, removed the extra buttons and threw them in the case....I fixed that today.

Someone also removed the LCD screen from the top. Any clue where I can get a replacement screen? And how do I hook it up if I do? There are two wires in the top that are not connected to anything (black and white), along with a couple of loose wires down in the belly. Can I just buy a used laptop LCD and use that??

Help! :help:

hey you the guy I meet at the superauctions ;)

first off what you bought is a SuperNeo29 TypeII MVS cab. I was afraid someone took the LCD out of it, that is to bad. I could not tell since they switched the boards if they were just lazy and did not hook the screen up or not.

anyway on parts. I sure someone should be able to give you some suggestions.

I often wondered if you could use a LCD screen from one of those Portable playstaions, Xbox or Gamecube travel systems. But I have never tried it so I am not suggestion you do that.

I probably am, but I met quite a few people and got none of their names. Who were you?

Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. It's hard to beat a 29" monitor to play on. I will probably end up eventually converting it to MAME though.

I thought about a PSOne screen, since it seems a laptor screen won't work. They are pretty simple, but I am still not sure what the wires go to that are up inside my cabinet.
