I have ano audio receiver with two stereo speaker outputs (4 total: set A [L & R] and set B [L & R]). one set has two 8ohm speakers hooked up directly, set B has its output wired to the input of an active device with a 33kilohm resistor in each of the signal wires (L+ & R+). The active device is a small amp., woofer, and two satellite speakers, all together.
When it's just A speakers it's fine, when it's just B -> 2nd amp., it's fine. But when it's both speakers selected, only the B speakers work (the one with 33kO resistors en route to mini-amp/woofer/satellites). Even when both are selected and the 2nd amp off, the A speakers don't work. I thought electricity went the way of least resistance, so why when I turn the B speakers low does nothing come out of A speakers??
Thanks to everyone who reads this whole damn thing
