I've been using auctionstealer.com for a while, but it only allows me 3 weekly snipes. Any other good one out there? Yes, it needs to be free. Thanks.

None.
Don't need them. When I bid in the last minute I always input the highest
price I'm willing to pay for the game, which most of the time is ridiculous
if I really want the game, hence my game on ebay is SNK_Sniper

I don't use any. I wait until the last few seconds and bid by maximum amount. I usually never bid early on....don't want to run up the bid amount.

Yeah, I usually just wait until there are about 30 seconds left and then
I make use of the bid now button.

*Thanks for the heads up man. Going to keep you in my "Silent Scope" along with a few others. I too Snipe from a mile out with a hot loaded 7.62mm Maximum Bid with 3-2 seconds to go, and BAAAAAAAAM! I generally win. Though I've had a few misses due to dial up lag, and of course someone having a better technique than me. ---I could use some sort of program to cheat, but I prefer to do it the old fashioned way. Click up the elevation a bit, and click either right or left... center in for the Kill Zone, and breathe. One second you've got eight or nine people going Infantry style over a hot item, a mili-second to go and you then you see = mercenary_x99 is the highest bidder, and has won the auction. ;) *Sucka's never see it coming.

I don't use any. If there is an item I want and I'm not at home I have a friend use my account and bid on the item on the last second with the max I'm willing to pay. It works great and I aways do the same for my friends when they can't bid.

I use snip.pl; wholly free, no trial periods.

Thanks, I'll give a try later.

Well, since most of the auctions I bid are USA-based, they use to finish between 1AM-8AM in the European time, so there is no way I'm going to stay awake just for it. Plus sniping manually is a pain. I just decide my true maximum when I see the auction, set a snipe for it and then forget about it. I'll know if I won it, and if not to the hell with it.

Ive never thought to use a Sniper Program before, Usually though I tend to just use Buy It Now auctions, I hate the Shill Bidders etc that auctions consist of now days, really pisses me off.
If I see something with a Buy It Now Price and it seem reasonable or I want it Bad then I take it and Pay on the spot with Paypal, Best Way to do it in my Book.

I use my f5 key, and the din now option, that makes bidding at the last minute actualy exciting.

There is no greater satisfaction then winning th ebid after a fierce battle of : who can add the last 50 cents :D

Same here. Shill bidding sucks. Buy it Now is the way to go for me, whenever the price is right.

And did I mention I fucking hate snipers? :eye:

@Mercenary X99: do you know what happened to snipers in WWII? :smirk:

Yeah, actually I do. *But that's all the more reason I love "The Hunt" and often being "The Hunted". The Scout/Sniper more or less is involved in a Private War within a war... or it's purely surgical in nature for a specific target. For me EBAY is an electronic battlefeild that I love doing a Recon over. I see what or whom is out there first, then decide if it's worth me setting up a position... sometimes I fire a spoiler shot {early bid} just to call out the dogs, then move positions again, but more than that I'm not letting onto. Then from afar I watch people with their penny ante "Up the bid .50cents to a dollar at a time" for something then with 2 seconds to go I fire the Kill Shot. I used to be more "toe to toe" with people but after getting shot down from a mile out from others on particular items I wanted, I learned the trade craft and now it's a private war.

Ummm... READ THE FIRST FRECKIN' POST NUMB NUTS! *I don't use a program it's all manually done the "Cowboy Way". I actually know the date an auction is going to end, then punch deck from wherever I'm at with 10 minutes to go, see if it's still worth my while then fire off a hot loaded Maximum Bid. ---If you don't see EBAY as an consumeristic/electronic version of a Chess Game, then you don't is all. I personally like the challenge is all. Half the time I'm not even online much these days, I don't post as much as I used to because I do have better things to do... but when I do punch deck I'm all about the Strategy & Tactics of Winning. *Winning on EBAY, in a fist fight or more is the only thing that matters to me. Hell I don't even give a fuck about the product sometimes... just winning. If that is pathetic to you then fine... feel free to have an opinion as like assholes we've all got em'.
