Article in June PC gamer about this Legal rom download site... 50 classic Atari games so far avail for download, payable with 'credits'. You get 15 credits to start. ROMS as low as $2 each.

Why couldn't one just buy a real 2600 cart for >$2? Like 50% of them are.

True... but these games on this site are the actual arcade ROMS, which are supposedly better than teh portz anyway... we of all people here understand that more than anyone.

So if you pay for asteroids roms do they fix the vector graphics problem that mame cant do?

If these games are emulated perfectly with all the sounds and everything intact, I'd pay a little to play them. Atari 2600 carts aren't exactly what I'd call widely available, you know.
