Well the latest copy of Edge dropped thru the mail today, and after I've torn the plastic cover off a beautiful shot of Out Run stares back at me - so far so good
I'm a massive Out Run fan and one day I WILL own a mint example of the original sit down cab... but anyway I digress...
So I immediately flick to the pages covering the main article and much to my annoyance I find that the conversion will be X-Box only! Arrrgagh!!
On the positive side Edge reports the game appears to be virtually arcade perfect (so a big w00t for Out Run fans who have X-Box's)
Now I cannot abide Microsoft at all, and hate the X-Box with a passion, but what do I do now? I need this game... I have a DC, PS2 and GC but they will be of no use to me, even if I nail them all together to make the worlds 1st 384 bit console...
So, do I bite my tongue, be a hypocrite and buy an X-Box upon Out Run 2's release or do I cause myself just as much pain by blanking out the fact that a home version of this amazing sequel exists?
Answers on a postcard...
BTW - conversion looks awesome!
Elsewhere Viewtiful Joe 2 previewd along with Paper Mario 2 and Biohazard Outbreak 2; Red Dead Revolver reviewed, Samurai 20XX slated, RE: Outbreak critiscised, Galleon reviewed (looks dated already)... oh and KoF: MI for PS2 is previewed too
