KOF 99 Boss

The boss at the end of KOF 99 is really easy to beat....easier than KOF 98. Is it just me? Just wondering what everyone else thinks.

Yeah, Krizalid is one of the easier bosses to beat. The only thing you have to worry about is his Tornado Kick. Other than that, he has nothing.

Hmm...

Am I the only one who thinks Rugal '98 is really easier ? Specially when faced with Ralf, Ryo '95 or Takuma :smirk:

At the time I used to play KOF99 ( I wasn't as good player I am now ), I always found Krizalid a bitch to beat. Maybe because I played 99 the way I play 98 ? Without strikers ? Possibly then. I'm not that much a fan of the Strikers system.

KOF98 > 99 :D

Yeah, he is easy to beat if you use your striker at the right times. If the difficulty is set to less than MVS he is super easy to beat.

You can't deny that the graphics in KOF 99 are awesome!

Nop... as a matter of fact I really can't... But I still prefer 98 ones ! :buttrock: :D

Kof96 and onwards are meant to be played in level-8 man !
MVS settings for KOF's are even a challenge to boot.

Rugal 98 = easy as fuck with the team you mentioned, or any team with ryo 95 and takuma fer that matter. Really weird, cos I played it the other day for the first time in years and decided to pick a team i never use (Athena, Takuma & Ryo 95) and i freakin bitzed through the game and beat Rugal on my first go, with a straight victory using only Ryo. Freakin' unbelievable.

It's so damn cool to do it when Rugal's charging his darkness projectile.

I also do the same thing with Saisyu. Works flawlessly :D

It was very disappointing. KOF99 is a great game...but the end is kind of a let down...over tooo quick.

Krizalid can be pain sometimes, but, he is a walk in the park to beat, compared to Rugal in '98. Beware the Genocide Cutter!
